Company moves towards expansion phase, targeting American and European
markets.
Phenomatics GmbH, an Austrian company dedicated to the
development and marketing of Virtual Reality
industrial-training simulators, announced today that it is appointing 3
new members to its management team, effective 29th January 2009.
Richard Adey joins as Commercial Director. He has 20
years international commercial experience, and will lead the company’s
expansion into overseas markets. Richard Adey has held key management
positions in the chemical and life-science industries. Most recently he
was International Business Development Manager at
Royal DSM N.V. a major Dutch
Materials and Life Sciences company. Previous responsibilities include
key HQ positions in international marketing and sales at AgrEvo GmbH and
Schering AG.
Martin Garstenauer and Helmut Garstenauer will jointly
spearhead new software development at Phenomatics. Both completed their
Diplomas ’With Distinction’ in Computer Science at the Johannes Kepler
University in Linz in 2006, focusing on animation and rigid body
dynamics; fields in which they are acknowledged experts. Martin and
Helmut Garstenauer have been extremely valuable contributors to
Phenomatics projects in recent years.
Phenomatics develops Virtual Reality simulators based
on the company’s own proprietary software. The company’s focus is the
industrial training sector. Its first projects and its first major
product are in the oil and gas industry. Phenomatics’
SAVE Virtual Reality training
simulator is for training refinery operator personnel in the correct and
safe operation of plant and equipment. Further Virtual Reality based
training tools from Phenomatics are expected to be announced within the
next year.
These appointments complement the core management team
of Roland Holm and Markus Priglinger, joint-founders and Managing
Directors of Phenomatics.
’I am pleased to welcome Richard, Martin, and Helmut to
Phenomatics at this critical point in Phenomatics development’ said
Roland Holm. ’Phenomatics will benefit enormously from their skills and
experience, as we embark on the internationalization of our business’.
